Originally founded by the esteemed Dr. Pieter Cilliers, the practice’s reins were gracefully taken over by Dr. Louis Botha in 1994, marking the beginning of a new era in healthcare excellence. Dr. Cilliers pursued specialization in psychiatry, leaving behind a foundation of patient-focused care that continues to thrive under Dr. Botha’s leadership.

In 2009, we forged a strategic alliance with Medicross, evolving into the esteemed Cape Town Medicross clinic. This partnership seamlessly integrates crucial administrative support from Medicross, while our dedicated team of doctors remains at the helm, steering the course of our operational strategy.

Our esteemed medical team comprises four dedicated GPs: Dr. Louis Botha, Dr. Beata Buckle, Dr. Vickesh Ramjee, and Dr. Megan Buckle. Complementing their expertise are our qualified nurses, Liandi and Josh, and our dynamic duo of sisters, Daniella and Gafsa. Ensuring smooth operations at the front lines are our efficient reception staff – Megan Zonke, Fiona, and Sharon. Behind the scenes, managing the numbers is our meticulous accountant, Deborah, and overseeing the overall practice is our adept Practice Manager, Sue-Lynn.

We take pride in our continuous growth, currently boasting 50,000 patient files and welcoming an average of 15 new patients daily. Embracing the digital age, we’ve transitioned to a paper-light office, scanning over 75,000 documents to ensure secure and efficient communication with our patients and specialist partners.

Our commitment to patient care extends beyond our physical walls; our Health-ID enabled practice grants us direct access to Discovery Medical aid patient information with their consent. Rest assured, all patient data is meticulously stored and backed up off-site for enhanced security.
